The Chevrolet Camaro SS is one of those cars that, despite the modest price tag, attracts a lot of attention just by merely showing up. So we figure that if you had one of these ponies in your garage, that there would be a pretty good chance that you’re going to catch the eye of a lot of people out on the streets. No need to spend six figures on a car, right?
Well, a man from New Brunswick, Canada decided that “merely” having a standard Camaro just didn’t quite cut it. So, in an effort to put more spice in his Camaro SS, he decided to bring it to a tuning house with specific orders to turn this already powerful beast into something that’s powerful beyond description.
And with the specific task at hand, the tuning house ended up spending over 3,800 hours on the car and successfully turned it into a 1,400 horsepower four-wheeled rocket. In addition to the painstaking hours it took to completely tune this Camaro, the Canadian owner ended up forking over a whopping $320,000 for the entire overhaul.
As for the specs that came in the car, well, you’re going to have to continue reading after the jump to find out. Believe us, the list seems to go on forever.
Specs after the jump.

One thing you can always count on from people with fancy rides is that, somehow, they’re going to end up showing off their cars to anybody willing to take a look at them.
Of course, showing off your car requires that you at least have the right frame of mind when doing so. Basically, you have a clear idea of whatever it is you’re bound to do. Otherwise, you’re just going to end up like this dude.
Driving a spanking expensive BMW M6, the driver of the car, who we assume is also the owner, performs a drift for the camera only to have his risky daredevil attempt backfire on him as he overshoots his drift. This sends his M6 spiraling straight into a ditch. We don’t know the extent of the damage the car sustained, but with the way it fell through and with the abrupt stop shortly thereafter, we’re guessing that the owner of the car is going to have to spend more than he bargained for in repairs.
Lesson learned, folks. Unless you know what you’re getting yourself into, it’s best to keep the driving stunts to the professionals who get paid to do it.

COPY EDITOR CYNTHIA L. OROSCO: A couple of nights in the Camry were fine, but nothing to write home about. The looks didn’t do much for me, the interior was fine and the power was just OK.

One thing we can all count on when it comes to Porsche models is that they will always carry with them a sense of history and tradition. Porsche models go seemingly unchanged as each generation brings minor adjustments and a whole lot of Porsche. That being said, some people may want to enhance their galloping horse into something a little more retro and a little more fun. That is when Misha Designs steps in and gets the job done.
Misha Designs’ body kit for the Porsche 911 Turbo brings a throwback look to the modern car by the use of a black and yellow color scheme and many exterior components. The kit starts off with a lip spoiler, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler with add on blade (like the one found on the standard GT2). After that it gets interesting. Misha uses GTM front and rear bumpers with the rear bumper utilizing three carbon fiber grills on each side which benefit the Porsche in terms of aerodynamic performance and cooling. Side skirts can be ordered with carbon fiber extensions and a GTM hood with two optional carbon fiber vanes finishes off the exterior look.
The overall look of this Porsche 911 Turbo by Misha Designs is simply stunning. They were able to take a brand new car and give it a classic style that is different from a Porsche, but that blends together with it perfectly. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

Who knew that the Supra nameplate was on the market? Toyota let its hold on the Supra name go after the car was discontinued, but the Japanese automaker recently applied to get the name back. Although Toyota hasn’t made any formal announcement, we have to think that this move means that the name might be used on the new FT-86 sports car.
The trademark was lost back in 2006, as the company never renewed the deal to hold onto the name. According to Car and Driver, Toyota filled out an application to take back the Supra name on July 16.
The automotive magazine had a chance to talk to Toyota about the situation and Communications VP Mike Michels said that company only got the name back to preserve ownership of the name. This isn’t uncommon, as automakers hold onto nameplates for years after the car was discontinued. That being said, Toyota chose to do this at a very interesting time.

If you thought the now dearly departed Chrysler PT Cruiser Convertible was bad, wait till you see this. Many thought it to be just a hoax, but apparently Nissan is bringing a Murano two-door convertible to the Los Angeles Auto Show. That’s right, the crossover SUV is getting its roof chopped off.
Inside Line is reporting that the Murano Convertible will go on sale in the spring of 2011, just in time for warm weather and top down driving in your new convertible crossover.
Nissan is having a weird month. They hit it big with the Juke and now they are trying everything in the book of oddness. Vitamin C air vents, sofas for seats,, and now this, a Murano convertible aimed at people who want to feel the wind in their air and still drive an SUV. This is a major risk and we aren’t too sure it’s going to work for them. Give them credit for thinking outside of the box though.

Motor Trend is reporting that sources within Toyota have said that the four-cylinder version of the 4Runner is being discontinued after just one year. The smaller engine model hasn’t sold well at all, as the V6 model has accounted for over 90 percent of sales.
Part of the reason for this was that the smaller motor didn’t help the fuel economy numbers all that much. Not to mention drivers have to sacrifice 113 horsepower and 100 pound-feet of toque. That small motor in a vehicle that weighs as much as the 4Runner just isn’t going to work out. With that four-cylinder being forced to carry such a large body, the fuel economy numbers were only 1 mpg better than the V6. On the plus side, the smaller motor did save buyers $4,000.
Toyota has not announced sales numbers for the four-cylinder 4Runner, but we would assume they’re pretty low. That would make this model quite rare and a shocking flop for the company.

There have been numerous reports that the Toyota Sequoia will be exterminated, but those appear to be false. The Japanese automaker’s SUV – which is built in Indiana – has seen a massive sales drop, down 36 percent from last year’s numbers.
Despite these horrid sales numbers, Toyota still feels confident in the big SUV.
“Sequoia continues to be a profitable, high-quality vehicle for Toyota and several years remain in the life of the current generation,” the automaker said in a release sent out to the media.
While the Sequoia is suffering, the 4Runner is flourishing. The three-row SUV has seen its sales double, to 21,953, in the first six months of the year.
The massive Sequoia will likely continue the way it is for a few more years and after that, it seems like that will be it for the SUV. We would expect the 2012 would be its last year.
